Table Hockey

Table hockey is a very fun game that many people enjoy as a pastime. For the most part, the concept of the game is very simple. Like regular hockey, the point of table hockey is to make sure that you win the game by scoring the most amount of goals within a particular time frame. Another way to win would be to be the first player to achieve a certain number of points. For example, some people may play to 5 goals and some people may play to 10 goals. Table top hockey is played by first purchasing a table hockey set, and setting it up within a certain environment. For most of the table hockey sets, it is imperative that the individual be near a power source. This is because the puck is placed on a platform that uses air in order to help the puck glide around the table.

Each player is given a ‘stick’, which is often a circular disc shaped piece with a handle on top. Players use these items when they are playing table top hockey in order to move the disc around. The game can be very fast paced, depending on the players. Because of the air, one strong hit can keep the puck going for quite a while. The table hockey game continues in such a manner until the individuals achieve their desired and agreed upon goals. After each goal is scored, and at the beginning of the table hockey game, both players will start with their control pieces in the center of the board. From here, they vie for control of the puck and continue to battle each other until a goal is scored.

If individuals were interested in playing table hockey with more than one opponent, they could set up a table hockey tournament. The table hockey tournament would be made up of several table hockey games. As each person wins, they would continue to advance and play other players at the game of table hockey. The person who wins the most and has defeated all of his opponents would be the table hockey tournament winner.

The best table height for table hockey often depends on the individuals using the table hockey set. For example, children work best with lower table hockey sets, while adults often prefer larger sets. Table hockey height is primarily based on the height of the players and their comfort levels.
